The Krazy Coupon Lady

The Krazy Coupon Lady is dedicated to solving the everyday challenges women face when it comes to wallet woes. Co-founders Joanie Demer and Heather Wheeler launched Krazy Coupon Lady from their kitchen tables in 2009 committed to making it easy to shop smarter. By simplifying the world of couponing and deal hunting, The Krazy Coupon Lady (also known as KCL) quickly became the trusted money-saving destination helping millions of women stretch their budgets. The Krazy Coupon Lady launched an app in 2015, which debuted as the #1 lifestyle app and in the top 10 best new apps (across all categories) in the Apple Store and garnered thousands of downloads from its loyal readers. Broadening their money-saving focus to offer a constant, best-of-web stream of deals, shopping tips, life hacks and how-tos, KCL expanded the ways they could help women spend smarter while cutting their budgets. KCL is the leading money-saving destination for over 5 million women every month. KCL went from two moms blogging from their home computers to nearly 100 scrappy, relentless, and intentionally disruptive people working together to help make our readers’ lives easier. KCL is really proud to have an all-female executive team, our own charitable organization dedicated to helping the local refugee population (using coupons, of course), and a rowdy freakin’ office in the nation's outdoor capital Boise, Idaho.

Job description

The Krazy Coupon Lady (KCL) is a female-founder-owned deal intelligence company — we turn the chaos of sales, coupons, and promo codes into the smartest way for millions of shoppers to save. They come back to us before they buy, and we're hiring the people who'll keep them coming back. We move fast, care deeply about our audience, and believe the best work happens when smart people bring clarity, creativity, and real accountability.

You may have noticed that our headquarters are in Boise, ID, but our workforce is fully remote in the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.

Overview

Facebook is KCL’s largest traffic driver and a critical lever for both audience growth and revenue. As the Manager, Facebook Growth & Engagement, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance of this channel end-to-end. This role is equal parts strategic and operational: you’ll lead a high-volume, always-on content engine while continuously optimizing performance through testing, data analysis, and rapid iteration.

You’ll manage a team responsible for content distribution and engagement, while partnering cross-functionally with content, product, and marketing teams to ensure Facebook is effectively driving business outcomes. In a fast-moving, algorithm-driven environment, you’ll balance real-time decision-making with long-term strategy—identifying scalable growth levers, improving monetization efficiency, and ensuring KCL remains competitive as the platform evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Facebook as a high-volume, performance-driven channel responsible for driving traffic and supporting revenue at scale. Define and evolve the channel strategy across content distribution, engagement, and monetization with a focus on maximizing clicks, out-clicks, and reach. Identify and scale repeatable growth levers, turning successful experiments into standardized playbooks.

  • Own day-to-day performance against core KPIs, including clicks, out-clicks, engagement, and reach. Build and operate a continuous testing roadmap across post timing, format, creative, and messaging. Translate data into clear, actionable insights and make fast, informed decisions in a real-time environment. Establish reporting systems that provide visibility at both the post and channel level, and foster a strong test-and-learn culture across the team.

  • Manage and develop a team responsible for operating a high-volume Facebook channel. Build workflows that support posting at scale (4+ posts per hour) while maintaining quality and accuracy. Create clear accountability structures, coach team members on performance ownership and content instincts, and step in as needed during high-priority or high-volume moments.

  • Oversee engagement strategy and execution across user-facing touch points, including comment moderation, direct messaging, and support workflows. Ensure a responsive, high-quality, and brand-aligned user experience. Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive interactions, and lead the growth and engagement strategy for Facebook Groups, emerging platforms and external communities. Identify opportunities to scale engagement through automation without compromising brand voice.

  • Own the execution and performance of monetization strategies on Facebook. Partner with content and discovery teams to amplify revenue-driving content and optimize post cadence, format, and distribution. Oversee sponsored and boosted content execution, ensuring campaigns deliver against performance goals. Continuously refine how monetized content is presented to maximize performance while maintaining user trust.  Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights that inform content prioritization and monetization opportunities.

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for Facebook performance and user sentiment across the organization. Partner with content, product, sales, and marketing teams to align on priorities and ensure Facebook supports broader business goals. Influence content strategy through performance insights, and proactively identify and resolve gaps in user experience, tracking, or platform functionality.

Success In This Role Looks Like

  • Consistent growth in clicks from the channel and subsequent outgoing clicks from KCL referred by Facebook, alongside improved Meta Monetization efficiency and affiliate revenue contribution.

  • Strong engagement rates and continued audience growth across Facebook pages and groups.

  • A proactive, data-driven approach to platform changes, supported by a high-functioning, autonomous team.

Ideal Background

  • 5–8+ years of experience in social media, with deep expertise in Facebook performance and traffic generation.

  • Background in e-commerce, digital media, or deal-driven content strongly preferred, with a strong understanding of value-conscious audiences and the behaviors that drive clicks and conversions.
