Job description

Help us find the people building the technology behind better sleep and healthier lives.

At Resmed, our work helps millions of people living with sleep apnoea, COPD and other chronic conditions sleep better and live healthier, longer lives. Behind that impact are Product and Technology teams solving complex problems across hardware, software, data, AI and digital health. As Talent Acquisition Lead, North America, you will help find, engage and hire the people who make that work possible.

This is a senior, hands-on recruiting leadership role based in San Diego, working hybrid with two days each week in our San Diego corporate office. You will lead recruitment delivery for critical Product and Technology hiring across North America, personally manage complex senior searches, advise leaders on talent strategy and develop a small team of TA Partners across the USA and Canada. The position is full-time and permanent.

What You'll Do

  • Lead recruitment delivery for Product and Technology hiring across North America, with priority focus on San Diego and Atlanta, including Resmed's Brightree business.
  • Act as principal recruiter for complex searches, from intake and market mapping through to assessment and offer strategy, with a consistent focus on candidate engagement.
  • Manage, coach and develop a small team of TA Partners across the USA and Canada, lifting standards while keeping delivery practical and commercially focused.
  • Advise senior leaders and People Business Partners on talent markets, search strategy, pipeline health, assessment quality and hiring risk.
  • Strengthen regional recruiting practice across briefing, sourcing, stakeholder engagement, candidate experience and evidence-based decision making.
  • Lead monthly pipeline reviews with clear actions, strong market coverage and visible attention to diversity, ageing roles and delivery risks.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of product and technology recruitment experience, with a strong record delivering senior specialist and leadership searches across product and emerging tech domains, particularly senior Product Management and Product Strategy roles.
  • Deep North American talent acquisition delivery experience, with strong knowledge of the USA, US West Coast and California Product Management talent markets.
  • Demonstrable capability in partnering with senior business leaders and People Business Partners to shape hiring strategies and resolve delivery risks.
  • 3+ years' people management and team development experience, with the ability to guide, support and develop recruiters across a multi-location North American environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building TA delivery capability and hiring quality, with the independence to serve as a senior advisor to stakeholders across multiple locations in North America
  • Strong executive search and strategic sourcing skills, including market mapping, passive candidate engagement, pipeline governance and evidence-based search planning.
  • Confidence in using data, recruitment analytics and AI to monitor performance, identify trends and provide value-adding insights and enhancements for TA leadership and People Business Partners.

What Sets You Apart

  • Sharp judgement: You know the market and the skills, providing talent intelligence and advice to help leaders make better hiring decisions.
  • Kind, yet direct: You give honest advice that maintains trust with leaders, recruiters, and candidates.
  • Generous with your craft: You listen intently, share what works and help other recruiters build stronger habits, not just busier calendars.
  • Curious and resourceful: You look past the obvious playbook, testing new sourcing channels and approaches to crack hard-to-fill roles.
  • Stay close to the detail: You know when a search is healthy, when it is drifting and when a leader needs a sharper plan.
  • Master the balance: You keep momentum across markets and time zones without losing care for people.
