Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Integration Strategy
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
  • Define and maintain enterprise integration architecture, standards, patterns, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Develop integration roadmaps aligned with business and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Lead architecture design sessions and provide technical direction for SAP and non-SAP application integrations.
  • Evaluate existing integration landscapes and recommend future-state architecture solutions.
  • Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide governance across integration projects.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage modern integration approaches, event-driven architecture, APIs, and microservices.
SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Migration Leadership
  • Assess existing SAP PI/PO environments, interfaces, mappings, and integration dependencies.
  • Define migration readiness assessments and identify technical and business risks.
  • Develop migration strategies, implementation roadmaps, and execution plans for transitioning to SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Lead end-to-end migration activities from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite.
  • Provide effort estimation, resource planning, sequencing, and project planning support.
  • Oversee interface redesign and modernization using cloud-native integration capabilities.
  • Coordinate migration testing, validation, performance tuning, cutover planning, and post-production support.
  • Ensure minimal business disruption during migration and deployment activities.
  • Establish migration best practices, reusable frameworks, and governance processes.
API Management & Governance
  • Design reusable and scalable APIs using SAP API Management.
  • Define API architecture principles and standards across the enterprise.
  • Implement API security controls including authentication, authorization, encryption, and policy management.
  • Establish API lifecycle management processes including versioning, monitoring, documentation, and retirement strategies.
  • Develop and maintain API governance frameworks and operational standards.
  • Support API consumption across internal, external, partner, and cloud-based applications.
  • Monitor API performance, usage metrics, and compliance with enterprise security standards.
Technical Leadership & Governance
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to integration developers and project teams.
  • Review solution designs, interface specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Establish coding standards, integration design principles, and deployment practices.
  • Facilitate design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning, risk management, and vendor coordination activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to integration architecture and delivery methodologies.
  • Support production environments by assisting with complex issue resolution and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Application Integration.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration technologies.
  • Strong experience with SAP PI/PO architecture, development, administration, and migration.
  • Experience integrating SAP applications including S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, IBP, and third-party platforms.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware architecture.
  • Experience working with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, XML, JSON, and EDI technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud integration strategies and hybrid integration architectures.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and integration lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Extensive experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including:
  • Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • API Management
  • Integration Advisor
  • Open Connectors
  • Event Mesh
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Certified Integration Suite Consultant.
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Certification.
  • Experience leading large-scale SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration programs.
  • Experience supporting global enterprise SAP environments.
  • Expertise in API-first architecture and microservices-based integration strategies.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and modern cloud-native integration frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies.
