What you'll be doing

Role Overview
 

The Digital & Experience Specialist is responsible for strengthening the organisation's employer brand through compelling digital experiences, high-quality content and data-driven optimisation. Working within HR and in close partnership with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Communications, IT and external partners, the role manages and enhances our employer-brand digital ecosystem to attract, engage and convert prospective talent.

The specialist will play a key role in translating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) into engaging digital experiences across careers websites, recruitment campaigns, landing pages and other candidate touchpoints, while using analytics and market insights to continuously improve performance.
 

Key Responsibilities

Digital Experience & Careers Website

  • Manage, develop, update and maintain careers website content, ensuring information is accurate, engaging, accessible and aligned with the employer brand and EVP.
  • Continuously improve the candidate digital journey and user experience across careers pages and recruitment-related digital touchpoints.
  • Partner with website developers, central IT and external suppliers to resolve technical issues and implement website enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve website functionality, navigation, content architecture, accessibility and overall candidate experience.
  • Support the development and implementation of new digital features and experiences that strengthen employer-brand engagement.


Employer Brand & Recruitment Campaigns

  • Support the activation of employer-brand and recruitment marketing campaigns across digital channels.
  • Create and manage campaign landing pages tailored to specific talent audiences, locations, functions or recruitment priorities.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and develop digital solutions that support recruitment objectives.
  • Ensure consistency of employer-brand messaging, visual identity and candidate experience across digital channels.
  • Support content activation across careers websites, social media, job platforms and other relevant employer-brand channels.


SEO & Content Optimisation

  • Measure and continuously improve the SEO performance of careers website content.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to increase organic visibility among relevant talent audiences.
  • Optimise careers pages, campaign landing pages, metadata and content structure using SEO best practices.
  • Monitor search trends and candidate behaviour to inform content development and optimisation.
  • Partner with relevant teams to ensure technical and content-related SEO opportunities are addressed.
     

Analytics, Measurement & Reporting

  • Monitor, analyse and report on careers website and recruitment campaign performance.
  • Track relevant KPIs such as website traffic, candidate engagement, acquisition sources, landing-page performance, conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.
  • Translate digital analytics into actionable recommendations for Talent Acquisition, HR and employer-brand stakeholders.
  • Establish appropriate tracking and measurement for new campaigns and digital experiences.
  • Use data to identify opportunities to optimise the candidate journey and improve campaign ROI and recruitment outcomes.
  • Benchmark careers websites and digital employer-brand experiences against competitors and leading organisations.
     

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in digital content creation and maintenance, employer branding, recruitment marketing, content management or a related field.
  • Strong experience managing and updating websites through Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Working knowledge of SEO, including content optimisation, keyword research, metadata and organic search performance.
  • Experience supporting or delivering digital and recruitment marketing campaigns, including the creation of campaign landing pages.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics and performance measurement, with the ability to monitor, track, analyse and report campaign and website performance.
  • Understanding of UX and candidate journey principles, with an ability to assess digital experiences from the user's perspective.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills and experience working with website developers, IT teams, agencies and other technical partners to troubleshoot issues and deliver enhancements.
     

Desirable Technical Capabilities

Experience with some of the following would be advantageous:

  • CMS and careers website platforms
  • Google Analytics/GA4 or equivalent analytics platforms
  • Google Search Console and SEO tools
  • Tag management and campaign tracking, including UTM conventions
  • Landing-page creation and optimisation
  • Social media and recruitment marketing platforms
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
  • UX, accessibility and web-content best practices
  • Dashboarding and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • A/B testing and conversion optimisation
