The Account Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for generating revenue and market share for LBS products and services from customers in a defined territory of responsibility. Actively manage LBS Accounts in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and the acquisition of new accounts to maximize sales potential across the targeted portfolio.  

You will be a part of the team in Poland and report to the Senior Commercial Manager Poland responsible for responsible for the development and increase in sales of LBS products in Poland. If you thrive in an amazing role and want to work to build a world-class sales organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve revenue targets and drive profitable growth within the assigned territory through strategic account management and business development.
  • Develop and execute account plans to identify customer needs, generate new opportunities, and expand the sales funnel in line with Leica Biosystems' strategic objectives.
  • Build strong customer relationships and promote the Leica Biosystems portfolio through consultative selling, customer visits, presentations, demonstrations, and participation in industry events.
  • Lead commercial activities, including tenders, quotations, negotiations, and successful deal closure.
  • Leverage CRM and strategic selling tools to manage opportunities, support forecasting, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and ensure accurate customer and pipeline management.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree.
  • Multiple years of relevant experience as an Account Manager in the medical industry.
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – 80%, overnight, within territory in Poland and occasionally to other European countries or beyond.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Understanding of IHC and overall pathology workflow and solutions
  • Knowledge of public procurement procedures in the medical industry
  • Knowledge of the pathology market in Poland
