The Integration Platform Engineer will be Contributing to the production of solution designs, following architectural principles, and documenting those designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Building Azure native, modern APIs and messaging/event  and file based integration patterns.
  • Developing and maintaining modern system integrations.
  • Contributing to the production of solution designs, following architectural principles, and documenting those designs.
  • Setting up services in both cloud and on premises environments.
  • Designing distributed, transaction intensive systems and solutions.
  • Working with cloud platforms, managed services, messaging technologies, and container orchestration.
  • Working with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform templates.
  • Contributing to platform engineering across security, reliability, and observability.
  • Platform life cycle management – managing the Integration Platform life cycle, including infrastructure and related service versions, security controls, and observability (monitoring) solutions.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 6 years’ experience as an Azure integration developer. Experience with microservices and common integration patterns such as messaging, events, and file based integrations. Experienced programmer in C#, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and SQL. Experience with Azure DevOps and technical documentation.

  • Knowledge of integration patterns and experience with synchronous (sync) and asynchronous (async) approaches.
  • Comfort with API design and documentation of software architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure Integration Services, API Management, and MCP servers.
  • Good skills and understanding of Azure architecture.
  • Good skills and understanding of networking, infrastructure, and security.
  • Good experience working with on premises hosted databases, applications, and servers.
