Job description

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Summit Locations!

Huntington Billboard Co. / Summit Locations is the fastest growing media company in the U.S. with billboard assets across 18 states. As an independently owned company, we build over 1,500 new billboard faces each year. This rapid expansion drives our need for exceptional talent to join our dynamic team. 

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in verifying that locations identified during research are legally viable for billboards and that all information is accurate. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the research team adheres to established processes and procedures accurately and consistently throughout their work. The Quality Assurance Specialist will actively participate in training research team members, provide feedback on errors and conduct training sessions to support skill development. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review location findings, confirming legality of each location, ensure formatting accuracy in Google Sheets, validate landowner information, update mailing lists, and maintain current project details in the research queue
  • Source zoning codes and maps from appropriate agencies, interpret zoning information, identity viable billboard locations, and accurately input landowner details
  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency across all platforms, including Google Sheets, Google Earth KMZ files, and other relevant systems 
  • Use AI tools and emerging technologies appropriately to support research, data validation, organization, problem-solving, and other day-to-day responsibilities 
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when working with company, landowner, zoning, and project information 

What We Need From You: 

  • 2-5 years of quality, zoning, or related experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required 
  • High attention to detail and reading comprehension
  • Ability to research, interpret, and apply zoning regulations and other location-specific requirements 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Comfortable using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, conduct research, organize information, identify errors, and support problem-solving 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Candidates local to our headquarters in Gordon, OH preferred, but not required.
