We are seeking a detail-oriented and decisive Assistant Manager - Security to join our dynamic team in Kochi, India. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily security operations while fostering a safe, secure environment for our guests, staff, and valuable assets.   • Supervise, train, and mentor security personnel while promoting adherence to company policies, industry best practices, and local regulations
  • Monitor and analyze surveillance systems, access control points, and security equipment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventative measures
  • Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns while maintaining composure and transparency
  • Conduct regular security patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, back-of-house, perimeter zones, and restricted access points
  • Prepare comprehensive and detailed incident reports and maintain meticulous security documentation for management review and compliance
  • Coordinate effectively with local law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during critical situations
  • Conduct thorough security risk assessments and develop innovative solutions to enhance overall property protection
  • Ensure strict compliance with all security protocols, safety regulations, health standards, and organizational standard operating procedures
  • Manage access control systems, key distribution, visitor management procedures, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide regular security briefings, updates, and performance reviews to senior management and relevant departments
  • Investigate security breaches, theft, suspicious activities, and implement corrective actions with analytical rigor
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive security matters, guest information, and proprietary procedures
  • Support team development through coaching, feedback, and inclusive leadership practices

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional security experience in a corporate, hospitality, or similar organizational setting
  • Proven supervisory or management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop security teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems, access control technologies, surveillance equipment, and monitoring tools
  • Excellent incident response and crisis management capabilities with sound decision-making skills under pressure
  • Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, health and safety regulations, and organizational operational standards
  • Proficiency in security documentation, report writing, record-keeping procedures, and data analysis
  • Valid security license or certification as required by local, state, and national regulations in India
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Physical fitness and capability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call availability

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
  • Familiarity with security management software and digital documentation systems
  • Training and mentoring experience with security personnel
  • Understanding of local Kochi security landscape and regional regulatory requirements
  • Certification in advanced security management or related professional development
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment with emphasis on guest relations and service excellence
