Summary:

Bamboo Health is seeking an experienced sales executive to accelerate new enterprise health system growth in key markets.  As a Market Development Director, you will be responsible for selling to the largest and most influential providers in the country. You’ll be tasked with executing new and expanded partnerships with health systems across the full suite of Bamboo Health product offerings. This role isn’t about simply selling software; it’s about challenging the status quo and helping executives reimagine how real-time intelligence can transform clinical and financial outcomes. You will build deep relationships with top executives at leading health systems, understand their challenges, and identify ways we can expand and grow our overall network.  As a trusted advisor, you’ll open new markets, expand our footprint, and accelerate adoption of Bamboo Health’s platform across enterprise systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead insight-driven conversations that educate healthcare leaders on new approaches to value-based care, care coordination, and operational efficiency.
  • Translate Bamboo Health’s capabilities into compelling solutions aligned to each organization’s clinical, financial, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through contracting—creating urgency and alignment around the value of real-time care intelligence.
  • Exceed assigned revenue targets through new enterprise sales in the Health System segment.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic pipeline that advances opportunities from discovery through close.
  • Engage and influence senior executives including CIOs, CMOs, and population health leaders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, aligning with each prospect’s budgeting and governance processes.
  • Deliver timely, data-driven forecasts with precision and accuracy.
  • Use Salesforce (SFDC) to manage pipeline health, deal stages, and activity discipline.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to influence product strategy and GTM initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Implementation to ensure client success.
  • Contribute as a commercial thought leader, mentoring others on Challenger-based selling.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance workflows through AI or automation tools (e.g., document summarization, task routing, or data parsing).

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

  • Master the Bamboo Health value story and develop a differentiated point of view for your territory.
  • Map key health system accounts in your territory, identify “mobilizers” within buying committees, and build an actionable territory plan.
  • Conduct high-impact prospect meetings that teach new perspectives and create curiosity alongside Bamboo executives.
  • Independently land meetings with buyers and build a sellable pipeline.
  • Begin incorporating AI-supported tools into your day-to-day work—whether through analysis, documentation, or task management.

In 6 months…

  • Build a strong, sellable pipeline that is on pace to achieve quarterly quota goals.

  • Deliver compelling executive presentations that connect Bamboo’s value to measurable ROI and value-based care outcomes.

In 12 months…

  • Independently build, strengthen, and execute a sellable pipeline to meet/exceed quota.
  • Consistently execute accurate quarterly forecasts.
  • Pursue a development goal that expands your impact beyond the growth organization, such as leading a cross-functional initiative.
  • Be recognized as a trusted advisor and insight-driven partner by your clients and peers.
  • Influence the strategic direction of Bamboo Health’s enterprise growth initiatives.

What You Need:

  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software technology solutions to Health Systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead with insight and create constructive tension that drives change.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong sense of team and the ability to work collaboratively to develop productive and effective working relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
  • Ability to travel frequently (up to 50%) for work.

What You Get:

  • Join one of the most innovative healthcare technology companies in the country.
  • The autonomy to build something with an enthusiastically supportive team.
