Are you experienced in workers’ compensation and passionate about helping others grow?

We’re now welcoming applications for a Learning Support Coach to join our supportive, purpose‑driven team in Melbourne on a full time, permanent basis. This is deeply meaningful work where your empathy, problem‑solving and commitment have a profound impact every single day.

You’ll provide coaching in a live claim’s environment, helping case managers build their confidence, capability and consistency. Working with the Learning and Development and claims teams, you’ll also help design and deliver learning initiatives.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Help new starters put their learning into practice and support experienced Case Managers with ongoing development.
  • Work alongside team members to strengthen their knowledge, build confidence and improve everyday claims management practices.
  • Work with leaders to identify development needs and provide coaching that supports individual and team performance.
  • Deliver individual and group learning sessions focused on claims management and customer service.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback and monitor progress to help employees apply their learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current or recent experience managing claims within the Victorian workers’ compensation scheme is essential.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting colleagues within a workers’ compensation claims team, such as helping new starters, sharing technical knowledge or guiding others through complex claims.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines, with the ability to explain how these apply to everyday claims management.
  • A practical, approachable communication style and the ability to adapt your coaching to different levels of experience.
  • Confidence providing constructive feedback to Case Managers and discussing development needs and progress with their leaders.
  • A passion for sharing your claims knowledge and helping others build their skills. Formal Learning and Development experience is not required.

Internal applicants: You must have achieved EMLGrow Immediate level in full and be actively working towards Advanced level. You must also have discussed a Learning Support Coach development goal with your leader, included it in your development plan and already be making progress towards it.
