About the role
We help organizations and individuals build the capability to adopt new technology. Our Product Strategy team decides which courses, certifications and events we offer, and where we invest next. This is a junior role for a product analyst who already knows their way around product data and wants to work AI first. You will work directly with the VP of Product Strategy, sourcing and analyzing what we sell, how our events perform, what deals sales closes, how each product line is doing and what competitors are up to. Just as important, you will use Claude every day and build Claude Skills that automate the recurring research, reporting and analysis, so the team spends its time on decisions rather than data wrangling.
What you will do
■ Analyze product performance. Track sales, margin, pricing and adoption by product and product line, and explain what is driving the numbers.
■ Keep the dashboards current. Maintain product sales dashboards and weekly reports, checking every number before it goes out.
■ Compile event and deal insight. Report on event attendance, fill rates and revenue, and on closed and lost deals: product mix, deal size and discounting.
■ Support product line reviews. Prepare the data packs for regular product line health checks: growth, margin and lifecycle stage.
■ Research competitors. Monitor competitor pricing, catalogs and announcements, and keep a shared competitor tracker up to date.
■ Work in Claude every day. Use Claude for research, data analysis, summaries and first drafts of reports, with a sharp eye for checking its output.
■ Build Claude Skills. Design, write, test and maintain Claude Skills that automate recurring work: weekly reporting, competitor scans, deal summaries and data packs.
■ Connect the data. Work with CRM, finance, event systems and public sources, and connect them to Claude so automations run on live data.
■ Present clearly. Build simple charts and slides that make a finding obvious, and add the "so what" to every report.
What you bring
■ 1 to 3 years of hands-on product analysis experience, for example as a product, commercial or business analyst
■ Practical grasp of product metrics: revenue, margin, pricing, product mix, adoption and lifecycle
■ Regular, hands-on use of Claude (or a similar AI assistant) for real analysis and research work
■ Experience building, or a clear ability to build, Claude Skills or similar prompt based automations, with examples to show
■ Confident in Excel and a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker
■ Strong attention to detail: you check the numbers, and the AI, twice
■ Clear written English and the confidence to share findings with senior colleagues
■ A degree in business, economics, data or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have
■ Basic SQL, Python or scripting for data preparation and automation
■ Experience with Claude Code, Cowork, MCP connectors or other agent tooling
■ CRM reporting experience in Salesforce or Dynamics
■ Interest in the IT training, certification or technology market
How we will measure success
■ First 90 days: Owning the weekly sales and events reporting, with at least one Claude Skill automating part of it.
■ By six months: A live competitor tracker and product line data packs, largely produced by Skills you built and maintain.
■ By twelve months: A small library of tested, documented Skills in team use, and analyses that end in recommendations.
What you will get
■ Direct exposure to senior product and commercial decision making from day one
■ Time and support to build real AI automation, not just talk about it
■ Access to our training and certifications, including AI courses
