Job description

This is a remote position.

Summary

Capital Project Intelligence (CPI for short) is a full-service consultancy and project services firm serving North-American clients in the infrastructure, utility, and construction industries. We are seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer to support a California utility client. The role is fully remote, but clients based in Southern California are preferred. The Senior Distribution Engineer serves as the utility’s designated design reviewer, performing QA/QC on submitted designs and acting as the primary technical liaison between the utility and designers, ensuring that all designs comply with the utility’s standards, policies, procedures, and applicable tariff requirements. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of design experience, including underground / overhead design, and preferably prior design review or QA/QC experience.

Our Mission

We are a team committed to making the greatest contribution possible with our time. Our clients are creating the built-world that we will inevitably leave to future generations. It’s our mission to help them build the world better.

Our singular goal is to create a more efficient, more robust, and more sustainable future by leveraging technology. These are important challenges. We are tackling them now and we are tackling them together.

Our Values

These values define us as individuals and as an organization. We set out from day-one to build a company that reflects the beliefs of every person that works for us and with us. Each value was selected because it is absolute. We stand by these values as the guiding framework for every decision, even if that decision costs the company money.

  • Sincere Integrity. Choosing to do what is right over what is easy. Always.
  • Adaptability. Forging success because of disruption, not in spite of it.
  • Maximum Effort. Our work reflects who we are both as individuals and as an organization.
