Job description

Corporate Financial Planner

Home Based | Greater London Client Base | £60,000 – £70,000

The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Corporate Financial Planner to join a well-established wealth management firm. This is a home-based role serving corporate clients across the Greater London area, with the support of a wider national team.

The firm offers a comprehensive financial planning service to private clients, businesses, and their owners. With a strong reputation built on tailored, client-focused advice, this is an excellent platform for an ambitious adviser looking to make a real impact in the corporate space.

The Role

As a Corporate Financial Planner, you will take ownership of a portfolio of corporate clients, providing expert advice across the full range of workplace and business financial planning disciplines. You will work closely with business owners, senior executives, and key decision-makers, helping them to navigate their obligations and maximise the value of their employee and business benefit strategies.

Core areas of focus include:

  • Workplace pension schemes and auto-enrolment compliance
  • Employee benefit design, implementation, and review
  • Business protection — key person, shareholder, and business continuity planning
  • Profit extraction strategies and business exit planning
  • Business succession and ownership transition

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality, compliant financial planning service to new and existing corporate clients across Greater London.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with business owners and senior executives, understanding their financial goals, priorities, and constraints.
  • Prepare and present clear, well-structured financial plans and recommendations that meet the firm's advice standards.
  • Ensure clients meet their regulatory obligations as employers, identifying opportunities to add value through improved employee benefit provision.
  • Conduct regular reviews of corporate schemes and plans, keeping recommendations aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with accountants, tax advisers, and other professional connections to deliver joined-up client outcomes and generate new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the corporate team, agreeing responsibilities, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Operate within the regulatory frameworks set by the FCA and The Pensions Regulator at all times.
  • Agree personal performance targets and work proactively to achieve them.
