Labcorp is seeking a Commercial Sales Intern to join our Northeast Division Commercial Sales Team. This is a remote position, with preferred locations in Boston, Massachusetts; New York City, New York; or Hartford, Connecticut, and will include in-person sales visits with the sales team.


Work Schedule:

Days/Hours: Monday–Friday / 40 hours per week


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the Northeast Division.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Analytics.
  • Contribute to divisional sales operations by helping streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance Customer Relationship Management utilization.
  • Assist with the creation of dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making for Commercial leadership.
  • Support sales strategy planning and gain exposure to territory alignment and incentive modeling.
  • Participate in sales visits with members of the Commercial Sales team to gain hands-on exposure to customer engagement and sales activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

About the Team:

The Northeast Division Commercial Sales Team is part of Labcorp’s broader Diagnostics organization and supports business performance, customer engagement, and operational excellence across the Northeast Division.

As a member of the team, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to commercial sales operations, sales performance analytics, strategic initiatives, reporting, and customer engagement. The role provides opportunities to collaborate with Commercial Sales and cross-functional partners while gaining insight into sales strategy and operations within the healthcare diagnostics environment.

Internship Details:

  • Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
  • Dates of Internship: June 1, 2027–August 13, 2027
  • Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00
