Work Arrangement & Schedule

Employment Status: Part-time

Hours per week: 20 hours

Workdays: Monday-Friday

Schedule: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm CST

This remote, part-time opportunity is designed for candidates seeking meaningful, flexible work to complement their life. Ideal for students who want a simple way to earn money between classes or stay at home parents with a few hours free in the middle of the day to earn supplemental income, this position is a great option for those who want flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. Hires received a week-long training, tech hardware and systems, and ongoing virtual support to conduct calls with prospective clients. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct calls with prospects to collect information and transfer qualified leads to licensed insurance advisors.
  • Use multiple computer systems and databases to look up lead records and accurately disposition interactions.
  • Follow phone scripts and workflows to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support our mission and corporate objectives by collecting accurate information to facilitate life insurance sales.
  • Meet performance metrics, including on-time attendance and high call availability, daily call minimums, call to transfer percentage, quality scores, and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • As needed, participate in training to remain current on systems and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Preferred Experience:

  • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Adaptability and resilience when interacting in a fast-paced setting with all types of individuals.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus, including English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service, sales, administrative, retail, hospitality, campus, volunteer, or other experience involving communication with customers or the public is preferred; relevant school or community experience applies.
  • Comfort using computers, learning new systems, and working across multiple applications; training on company-specific tools will be provided.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • A quiet, distraction-free work environment with reliable access to high-speed internet.

Essential Functions:

Role involves several hours of sitting or standing at a desk in front of a computer screen while wearing and speaking into a telephone headset. No on-camera presence is required. One to two short breaks each shift.
