OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Functional Design Consultant to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into clear and effective functional designs for banking solutions.

The Functional Design Consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, technical teams, development, testing, and project management to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into system functionality throughout the project lifecycle.

YOU WILL

»        

»       Produce detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRD/FSD), including business rules, validations, exception scenarios, data requirements, and functional workflows.

»       Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and existing or proposed banking systems.

»       Define functional requirements for integrations between core banking, digital channels, middleware, and third-party systems.

»       Prepare data mappings, interface requirements, field-level validations, and functional integration scenarios.

»       Maintain requirements traceability from business requirements through functional design, development, SIT, and UAT.

»       Define acceptance criteria and support preparation and review of functional test scenarios.

Requirements

»       TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

»       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

»       5+ years of experience in functional consulting, business analysis, functional design, or a related role.

»       •

»       Strong experience preparing BRDs, FRDs/FSDs, process flows, use cases, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

»       Experience performing fit-gap analysis and translating business requirements into implementable functional solutions.

»       Experience defining functional requirements for system integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data mappings.

»       Good understanding of banking system architectures and interaction between core banking, channels, middleware, and third-party systems.

»       Experience supporting SIT and UAT and managing requirements through the complete implementation lifecycle.

»       Strong stakeholder management, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
