Product Manager - Agent Platform

What is Spade?

Financial institutions process billions of transactions every day across cards, ACH, wires, and third party aggregators. But most of that data is difficult to use. Descriptions are inconsistent, merchant names don’t match, and categories vary by payment type.

Spade is a data and AI platform that turns messy transaction strings into structured, verified records — and gives teams the tools to act on it across authorization, attribution, analytics, and AI initiatives. Spade leads the market in terms of merchant coverage, matching accuracy, geolocation data, and speed of transaction enrichment. The Opportunity

As our first Product Manager focused on our AI Agent and Console products, you'll break ground on a nascent product line at a company with an established reputation for industry-leading data. Working closely with our CEO, data, and engineering teams, you'll shape what agent-powered products look like at Spade and own the platform that brings our numerous products together in one place for customers. This role is ideal for an AI-first PM who wants high ownership and the chance to build a new product line from zero.

What will you be doing?

• Lead our Agent, Console, and enrichment tool product verticals, collaborating with our engineering and data science teams to deliver high-quality products on time

• Build out new agent-related capabilities across our expanding product suite

• Engage directly with customers, both through sales and your own conversations, to gather feedback that shapes the roadmap

• Partner with engineering to define the UX/UI of our platform product

• Own the roadmap for these products, from priority-setting through delivery

• Collaborate with product marketing to coordinate product launches and ongoing marketing

What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager

• Proven track record of building or launching B2B software products end-to-end, from early ideation through delivery and iteration

• Experience building AI- or LLM-powered products

• Expertise in leveraging AI to accelerate product development cycles

• Strong technical fluency: you can partner effectively with engineers, understand API-first products, and make informed trade-off decisions

• Exceptional communicator: you can make complex ideas feel simple for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Based in NYC with the ability to work from our Flatiron office at least 2 days/week

Nice to Have:

• Experience at a startup (Seed to Series C)

• Experience at a fintech company

• Experience building products where banks and/or credit unions are the primary users

• Experience with AI-first products in enterprise settings

• At Spade, we view total compensation as consisting of salary + equity + benefits. We recruit motivated and high performing talent, and work to compensate people in line with the value they bring to our team.
