About the Role:

The Commercial Claims Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Commercial Claims Account Managers focused on acquiring, growing, and retaining revenue within Commercial Property & Casualty insurance carrier accounts. This leadership role is accountable for achieving team sales objectives, driving strategic account growth, and ensuring successful execution across the team's portfolio.


In addition to leading the team, the Commercial Claims Manager will maintain direct engagement with key customer relationships and assume responsibility for assigned accounts during periods of vacancy, transition, or business need. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with Commercial P&C insurance experience, a strong understanding of claims operations and workflows, and the ability to effectively engage with claims leaders and executives.


You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Commercial Claims Account Managers to achieve or exceed revenue, retention, and growth objectives.
  • Driving team execution of strategic account plans focused on expanding relationships within Commercial Property & Casualty insurance carrier claims organizations.
  • Managing sales forecasts, pipeline health, territory planning, and performance metrics for assigned team members.
  • Supporting and participating in customer meetings, sales opportunities, contract negotiations, and executive-level relationship management.
  • Directly managing customer accounts during periods of vacancy, onboarding, territory realignment, or other business needs.
  • Partnering with team members to identify growth opportunities, expand solution adoption, and increase market penetration within assigned accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with claims executives, claims operations leaders, innovation teams, SIU leaders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with Product, Implementation, Sales Support, and Product Solution Specialist teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Developing and executing talent development plans, succession planning, and ongoing coaching to drive individual and team success.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends, customer challenges, competitive solutions, and the evolving commercial claims landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience with a demonstrated track record of achieving revenue growth and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry experience required.
  • Prior experience selling data, analytics, SaaS, workflow, or technology solutions preferred.
  • Previous people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, developing, and managing sales professionals required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes, workflows, and operational challenges required.
  • Direct claims experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance carrier executives and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as required.


U.S. National Base Pay Range: $89,700 - $166,400. Total Target Cash Range: $138,000 - $256,000. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
