What you will be doing:

We are looking for a Senior Professional Services Engineer to deliver technology projects and strategic solutions for clients within a Managed Service Provider environment. This role combines technical consulting, project delivery, client engagement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are properly scoped, executed, documented, and completed according to customer expectations and established standards.

You will manage the end-to-end delivery of Professional Services engagements, following established project-delivery processes and required templates. You will validate project intake requirements, coordinate resources and timelines, monitor project scope and profitability, and ensure successful delivery within agreed deadlines.

You will conduct discovery and scoping sessions to understand client business objectives, technology challenges, and infrastructure needs. You will present proposed solutions, clarify scope, manage expectations, and maintain clear communication throughout the engagement.

The role will collaborate closely with Sales, vCIO, Service Desk, and Centralized Services teams to coordinate deliverables, support client onboarding, and ensure effective internal handoffs. You will also identify and escalate out-of-scope requests and support the conversion of additional client needs into new service opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in IT Professional Services, technical project delivery, project management, or technical consulting.

  • Strong understanding of managed services, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT environments.

  • Experience independently managing technology projects from discovery and scoping through delivery and handoff.

  • Experience conducting client discovery sessions and translating business and technical needs into defined project requirements.

  • Ability to coordinate project resources, timelines, scope, and deliverables.

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.

  • Ability to identify and escalate scope changes, project risks, and delivery concerns.

  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, including scope, deliverables, status updates, and internal handoff notes.

  • Familiarity with project and work-management tools such as Monday.com.

  • Familiarity with security, confidentiality, compliance, and governance requirements within technology projects.

  • Ability to collaborate across Sales, Service Desk, Centralized Services, vCIO, and leadership teams.

  • Availability to work SG Computers’ standard Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • English proficiency: B2+.

Good to have:

  • Previous experience delivering projects within an MSP or IT consulting environment.

  • Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, or enterprise technology projects.

  • Experience working directly with customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Experience supporting client onboarding and coordinating internal technical handoffs.

  • Familiarity with Master Services Agreements, quotes, scopes of work, and project intake requirements.

  • Experience contributing to project scoping, proposal presentations, or additional service opportunities.
