The Full-Stack Engineer role is an early hire within a growing technology team that has been established to help build out a wholesale trading capability within the company. Working closely with data and commercial specialists, you will help build reliable data services, analytical tools and operational dashboards that support the management and optimisation of renewable energy assets.

About Aukera & the Revenue Optimisation programme

Aukera Energy owns and operates renewable energy assets across Europe. We are investing in our internal revenue optimisation, technology and data capabilities to support the increasingly sophisticated management of these assets. The team is developing scalable tools for forecasting, analysis, operational decision-making and performance monitoring, supported by a robust data platform.

Key responsibilities

● Integrate operational, market and asset data into a scalable and well-governed data platform

● Build core services that support analytical workflows, operational decision-making and performance monitoring

● Develop reliable state-management capabilities for commercial and physical asset data

● Build and maintain testing, simulation and performance-reporting tools

● Develop alerting and dashboard solutions for operational visibility and exception management

● Contribute to data and machine-learning pipelines that support forecasting and optimisation

● Implement resilient processes that support continuity of critical services

● Work from the technical roadmap in close collaboration with technology, data and commercial colleagues

● Help build out an agentic SDLC in order to significantly enhance the productivity of the team.

What we're looking for

● Strong full-stack engineering experience, comfortable owning a service end-to-end from data ingestion, real-time processing, through to a working UI or dashboard

● Solid data engineering knowledge — comfortable designing schemas and pipelines for a data lake, and reasoning about data quality and lineage. Experience with any of DBT, databricks, snowflake

● Significant cloud engineering experience across any of the major cloud vendors

● Significant experience of European asset backed electricity markets, trading systems, or financial/risk domains; experience with ML pipeline tooling

● Familiarity with industrial or IoT telemetry protocols (e.g. Modbus, MQTT) and edge-to-cloud data capture, or a fast willingness to pick these up

● A pragmatic, build-it-yourself mindset suited to a small, early-stage team where scope and priorities are still being shaped

● A proven ability to work closely with quants to translate trading and risk requirements into reliable software

Team & reporting

You will join Aukera's Trading Technology & Data team and work closely with colleagues across engineering, data science and commercial functions. The team operates with a collaborative, hands-on approach, giving you meaningful ownership and the opportunity to help shape its evolving technology platform.
