Senior Finance Business Partner - Remote Opportunity

KinderCare is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to be an integral member of our FP&A team. As the SFA, you'll build partnerships with executives and cross-functional business partners to support new business growth. You'll have the opportunity to build new financial models that meet both company objectives and the needs of prospective clients. You will work collaboratively with our finance and accounting teams to prepare the consolidated company budget and forecast, as well as provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of results and forecasted trends. 

The ideal candidate will assist leadership to ensure financial targets are met by solving problems and developing operational strategies to improve financial results and enhance business opportunities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Establish a clear understanding of client goals and objectives through data analysis and communication 

• Develop proforma modeling and investment analysis; perform ad hoc projects, reporting, and modeling 

• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate with business partners internally and externally 

• Work through ambiguity with confidence and curiosity by asking questions, thinking creatively, and being innovative; identify and present a variety of options to achieve financial goals 

• Actively communicate financial terms, deal structures, underlying causes of variances, and modeling assumptions to collaborators; assess feedback and resolve concerns 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or MBA 

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; ability to understand sophisticated financial models and present financial terms, model assumptions, and drivers to external clients 

• Highly skilled in MS Excel; intermediate skills in MS Word and PowerPoint; strong understanding of financial reporting software a plus (specifically MS Power BI, Anaplan, Hyperion Enterprise, and reporting software) 

• Detail-oriented with high attention to quality and accuracy; possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Experience presenting to groups and conducting trainings 

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with various levels of management and develop strong working relationships
