As a Senior TSA, you'll be at the forefront of Akamai's cloud and edge computing initiatives. You will work directly with customers to architect and implement transformative solutions. You'll collaborate with sales teams, product managers, and partners to drive innovation and customer success.

As a Senior Technical Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Providing pre-sales support, manage and own the technical sales opportunity from discovery through to validation, deployment, and continuous adoption.
• Collaborating closely with sales, product teams, professional services, marketing, and partners.
• Leading innovation in solutions and products, identify and promote trends, and influence the global product roadmap.
• Building technical expertise and through-leadership in Akamai Cloud/Linode to support Akamai's overall business growth.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8yrs experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or related engineering roles and a Bachelors degree or it's equivalent.
• Possess extensive professional customer-facing experience in technical roles with cloud-related organizations.
• Demonstrate successful experience in architecting IaaS solutions for customers. Hold professional certifications from ASW/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in 3 or more domains across Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming, or media-streaming tech stacks.
• Have experience and hands-on skills in open-source software like Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform.
• Communicate complex technical content effectively through writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse technical and business audiences.
• Be proficient in modern development practices, APIs, databases, observability tools, and automation.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
