Position: Senior Product Designer, UI/UX
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Partner with AI researchers to identify best-in-class UI and UX patterns, turning them into clear principles and rubrics.
• Build polished, interactive web prototypes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Tailwind or AI-native tools like Cursor, v0, Lovable, and Bolt.
• Review AI-generated interfaces and provide specific, actionable feedback on layout, hierarchy, interaction, motion, and visual polish.
• Explore a wide range of visual styles and animation approaches, from productivity tools to consumer apps and games.
• Collaborate with designers and researchers to maintain consistency and elevate quality standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 7+ years of experience as a product designer, design lead, or creative front-end engineer.
• Hands-on prototyping skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Tailwind, or AI-native tools.
• Strong grounding in user-centered design, interaction design, and rapid prototyping.
• Senior-level design judgment with the ability to set direction and explain design choices.
• Ability to engage reliably for 40 hours/week.
• Clear written communication and precise, constructive design feedback.

Preferred

• Fluency with motion and animation tools like Framer Motion, GSAP, Rive, Lottie, After Effects, or experience in 3D and WebGL.

Compensation & Legal

• W-2 employment with Cincinnatus LLC.
