We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

What is this position about?

We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join our team and work closely with a challenging client in the hospitality industry. This role is highly hands-on and focused on leveraging data to support marketing and campaign-related initiatives, measure performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Python, SQL, campaign data, marketing analytics, experimentation, and performance metrics. The role is more focused on practical data analysis, campaign measurement, and business impact than on advanced AI or complex machine learning modeling.

The candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, translating data into insights and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Job Description

• Analyze campaign and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Develop and maintain data analyses using Python and SQL to support business and marketing initiatives.
• Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics and campaign KPIs.
• Support A/B testing and experimentation, including test design, analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Work with large and complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Build and maintain analytical reports and dashboards, leveraging tools such as Tableau when applicable.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Take ownership of analytical initiatives from problem definition through analysis and delivery.
• Apply strong statistical and analytical thinking to evaluate campaign performance and support business decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Campaign Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with marketing, campaign, customer, or performance data.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
• Strong understanding of business and marketing metrics and how to evaluate campaign performance.
• Experience translating complex datasets into clear and actionable business insights.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization/BI tools is preferred.
• Advanced academic background in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Advanced English proficiency is required, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in a professional environment.
