Job description

**This is a HYBRID position based in the Atlanta, Georgia Metro Area**

The Company

Cerbo · OptiMantra is a healthcare technology company built for the practices actively changing how medicine is delivered. Our platforms serve functional, integrative, direct primary care, concierge, med spa and behavioral health practitioners who need software that keeps pace with how they work, not the other way around.

Each platform is a purpose-built EHR and practice management solution. Cerbo is architected for clinical depth: deep configuration, protocol-specific workflows and the kind of flexibility that holistic and functional medicine practices require. OptiMantra is structured for scale: multi-modality breadth, out-of-the-box readiness and the operational infrastructure that growing practices rely on.

Together, our two platforms form a leading presence in this rapidly expanding market. Our practitioners are redefining what a patient experience can look like. We exist to give them the technology foundation to do exactly that, at whatever size and pace they choose to grow.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a sharp, high-ownership operator to serve as a force multiplier for the CEO and leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Associate Chief of Staff will help turn strategy into execution—driving cross-functional initiatives, establishing operating rhythms, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and ensuring accountability across engineering, product, sales, customer delivery, and corporate functions.

This is a role for someone who thrives in the space between strategy and execution. You will bring structure to ambiguous problems, accelerate decision-making, connect the dots across teams, and ensure that important priorities don’t get lost in the day-to-day. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, operational rigor, business acumen, quantitative problem-solving and the ability to influence across functions.

The Associate Chief of Staff will own high-priority special projects, track follow-through on leadership commitments, and step into problems that don’t yet have an obvious owner. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to identify what needs to happen, determine how to make it happen, and drive it through completion.

This role also has a strong technology and AI component. While there will be a modest amount of administrative work, the real mandate is to continually identify manual, inefficient, or repetitive processes that can be eliminated or automated. You will be expected to use AI and other technology to build practical solutions yourself—not simply recommend them.

The work will include both direct assignments from the CEO and autonomous initiatives driven by the organization’s highest-priority needs. Success in this role means creating clarity where there is ambiguity, momentum where there is inertia, and accountability where ownership is unclear.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career operator with few years of business operations, or a former consulting analyst coming off a client engagement, who wants a steep learning curve and meaningful trajectory. This is not a lateral move—it’s a launchpad. You will work alongside senior leadership, gain exposure to how a business is actually run, and have the opportunity to shape strategy, execution, and organizational effectiveness at the executive level.

 Responsibilities:

  • Maximize CEO effectiveness: Act as a strategic partner to the CEO by managing priorities, coordinating follow-through, and ensuring the CEO’s time remains focused on the highest-value opportunities and decisions.
  • Drive executive accountability: Own follow-through on leadership commitments, decisions, and action items. Ensure priorities have clear owners, deadlines, and next steps—and proactively address anything at risk of falling behind.
  • Lead cross-functional execution: Serve as a liaison across departments to drive alignment, remove roadblocks, and keep critical initiatives moving toward completion. Partner with senior leaders to resolve issues that span multiple functions.
  • Drive strategic initiatives: Take ownership of high-priority initiatives from concept through execution, working with the appropriate leaders and teams to translate business objectives into clear plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Create structure from ambiguity: Take broad, complex, or early-stage ideas and turn them into actionable plans. Conduct the research, analysis, and stakeholder coordination necessary to develop recommendations and move decisions forward.
  • Leverage data to inform decisions: Conduct ad hoc analyses, financial modeling, research, and other quantitative work to evaluate opportunities, test assumptions, and provide the executive team with actionable insights.
  • Own executive meeting execution: Prepare for key leadership meetings, capture decisions and action items, distribute concise recaps, and track commitments through completion.
  • Enable organizational communication: Serve as a key point of contact across the organization, ensuring relevant teams and stakeholders have the information, context, and clarity needed to execute effectively.
  • Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities: Continuously identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient work that can be eliminated or automated. Use AI and other technology to build practical solutions that improve speed, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead ad hoc strategic projects: Take on high-priority projects ranging from targeted research and analysis to financial modeling, internal initiatives, expansion opportunities, and other business-critical work as priorities evolve.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, project management, executive operations, or related discipline
  • Experience working directly with senior executives or organizational leadership
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving outcomes without direct authority
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, establish priorities, track deliverables, and drive initiatives through completion
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with business data, building analyses, identifying trends, and using data to develop, validate, or challenge hypotheses
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, presentations, or other materials used to inform business decisions
  • Demonstrated proficiency with modern productivity, collaboration, data, and AI tools, with a track record of quickly learning and implementing new technologies
  • Experience identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, or eliminate manual processes; hands-on experience using AI or automation tools to build or implement solutions
  • Experience developing and implementing business processes, operating cadences, or systems that improve organizational efficiency and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or a similarly analytical, high-performance environment
  • Experience working in a PE-backed, high-growth, or rapidly scaling organization
  • Experience working with healthcare technology, SaaS or other technology enables B2B businesses

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Paid Time Off and company holidays
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits
  • Short-term and long-term disability Insurance
  • 401k plan with matching company contribution
  • Real ownership and impact in a fast-growing health tech company
