Industry Mentor - AI/ML | Telugu | Part Time

At Masai, industry mentors lead our main live classes. You'll teach topics from scratch, share how things really work on the job, and make sure every student gets hands-on with the tools the industry actually uses.

What you'll do

• Teach live online classes, starting from the basics and building up step by step
• Share industry best practices, real examples and the mistakes to avoid
• Give every student hands-on practice with popular tools and frameworks in the field
• Keep classes interactive with live coding, questions and problem solving
• Review assignments and projects, and give clear, useful feedback
• Work with our curriculum team and TAs to keep students on track

When you'll work

• Weekdays from 8:00 PM
• Weekends

It's part-time, so it fits around your full-time job.

What you should know well

• Python for data science, plus Git and GitHub
• Fluent in speaking Telegu
• Working with data: cleaning, exploring and visualizing it
• SQL
• The math behind ML: statistics, probability, linear algebra and calculus basics
• Machine learning: building, evaluating and improving models
• Deep learning and neural networks
• NLP and transformers
• Generative AI: LLMs, prompting, RAG and AI agents
• Deploying models as simple apps or APIs
• Responsible AI: bias, privacy and safety basics
• Problem framing: knowing when ML is the right tool and linking results to business decisions
• End-to-end projects that students can show to employers
• Time series, A/B testing, reinforcement learning or cloud tools are a bonus

Who we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, AI or a related role. If you've taught before, 1 to 2 years is enough.
• A real passion for teaching. You light up when someone finally gets it.
• Online teaching experience (a must)
• The ability to explain tough ideas in simple words
• Patience with adult learners from different backgrounds who learn at different speeds
• Comfort with online teaching tools like Zoom, screen sharing and digital whiteboards
• Reliable and on time. Students plan their evenings around your class.
• Fluent in speaking telegu

Never taught online? If you can explain things so simply that a beginner gets it, the way Richard Feynman did, you might be a teacher who just hasn't tried yet. Apply anyway. We may invite you to a demo round.
