Sitecore/DXP Developer

This is a remote position.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain custom Sitecore DXP components, templates, and applications based on client feature specifications and technical designs.
  
• Architect and deploy Sitecore solutions within Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  
• Build server-side web functionality using ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core, applying n-tier (UI / BLL / DAL) and service-oriented architecture patterns.
  
• Design, build, and optimise relational database models using SQL Server, including stored procedures and ORM-based data access layers.
  
• Develop and integrate custom APIs; connect third-party APIs into solutions cleanly and robustly.
  
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and design specs into responsive, accessible front-end components using React.js / Next.js, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and LESS/SASS.
  
• Own feature-level unit and system testing; contribute to acceptance, performance, and load testing.
  
• Participate in requirements gathering, storyboarding, use-case development, and functional specification writing.
  
• Champion software craftsmanship — code quality, TDD, continuous integration, and best practices — across the delivery team.
  

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• 2–5 years of hands-on Sitecore DXP experience (version 9.0+).
  Deep knowledge of the Microsoft stack: .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Visual Studio 2019/22.
  Microsoft Azure experience — architecture, deployment, and DevOps (Azure DevOps, source control, build management).
  Solid OOP and computer-science fundamentals.
  Experience building and integrating custom and third-party REST APIs.
  Experience designing, optimising, and querying relational databases (SQL Server) and writing stored procedures.
  Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  Strong front-end fundamentals: HTML/DOM, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript (scope, binding, events, linting), SPA architecture.
  Proficiency with React.js; experience with Node.js, NPM, and build tooling (Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, etc.).
  Experience with pre-processors (LESS / SASS) and responsive design techniques.
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
  Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
  Prior consulting or client-delivery experience is strongly preferred.
  

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data regulations.
  

• Experience with Kentico or other enterprise CMS / DXP platforms.
  

• Experience with Salesforce and/or Microsoft BI integrations.
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (JIRA, Azure Pipelines).
  

• Next.js experience and/or full-stack background.
  

• Kentico CMS experience.
