Test Automation Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for Test Automation Engineers to support regression automation across complex telecommunications and billing systems. The role focuses on developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java, TestNG, Selenium, and Playwright, executing regression suites, analysing failed tests, and identifying issues through logs, messages, files, and data flows. The consultants will also prepare test scenarios and test data, document defects, and work closely with technical teams to improve automation coverage and overall software quality.
Responsibilities
• Create automated tests using tools selected by Polkomtel
• Develop and maintain Java / TestNG automation frameworks
• Run, fix and maintain existing automated tests
• Create test cases and test scenarios
• Regression testing and retesting fixes
• Prepare test data
• Analyse logs and incoming/outgoing messages
• Verify files and data streams
• Analyse test results and identify causes of failures
• Register test results in ALM Quality Center or another selected tool
• Document defects and test execution
• Support functional and non-functional testing
• Potential work within Agile teams
