What You Will Do *

Define and implement Snowflake architecture, data models, standards, and best practices aligned with enterprise technology strategy.
Lead data migration and modernization from legacy/on-premises platforms to Snowflake and cloud environments.
Design scalable data ingestion, integration, transformation, and data-sharing solutions using Snowflake and ETL/ELT technologies.
Establish data security, access controls, encryption, governance, and compliance standards.
Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
Design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data platform architectures.
Provide technical leadership for integrations with systems such as Workday, HR/Payroll platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud services.
Develop architecture patterns for batch and real-time data processing.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, business analysts, security teams, and enterprise architects to deliver enterprise data solutions.
Establish standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Evaluate new Snowflake capabilities and cloud technologies and recommend solutions that improve business value and operational efficiency.
Provide technical guidance, code/design reviews, mentoring, and architectural oversight to development and data engineering teams.

Qualifications You Must Have *

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
12 -15+ years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, and cloud data platforms.
6 - 8+ years of hands-on experience designing Snowflake solutions.
Strong expertise in data modeling, and dimensional modeling.
Experience with ELT/ETL tools such as Matillion with strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
Experience with Python, PL/SQL for data engineering and automation with knowledge of CI/CD, Github, DevOps.
Experience implementing enterprise security and governance frameworks using Immuta.
Skilled in data mapping, conversion, transformation, and integration activities to meet third-party vendor requirements, with experience integrating Snowflake with Workday, Globalview and ADP products.
Proven track record of contributing to large-scale project implementations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Experience with API-based and cloud-native integrations.
Qualifications We Prefer

Snowflake certification such as SnowPro Advanced Architect or equivalent.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience 

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
