The Aftermarket Specialist & Training Coordinator works with Authorized Dealer locations, Väderstad employees, and individual farmers, growers, and end users throughout North America and other Regions and markets as assigned. The role combines product and aftermarket support with responsibility for planning, coordinating, delivering, documenting, and continuously improving dealer, customer, and employee training across the Väderstad product portfolio.


This role supports the full Väderstad product range in North America by identifying training and aftermarket support needs through field performance, dealer capability, product updates, warranty trends, service cases, customer feedback, and business priorities. This includes working closely with dealers, customers, territory teams, Product Support, Parts, Warranty, Sales, Product Management, Documentation, and global teams to understand where additional knowledge, tools, or support are needed. The position turns those needs into practical training, field support, product demonstrations, customer clinics, service advice, learning resources, and follow-up coaching that help dealers and internal teams build stronger product knowledge, improve safe operation, strengthen diagnostics and repair quality, and provide consistent support to customers throughout the product lifecycle.

Accountabilities

  • Product Demonstrations within this region (North America)
  • Timely reaction to dealer or customer concerns
  • Interact with customers, departments, and personnel regarding technical and information requests such as delivery, product requirements, product problem resolution, and warranty.
  • Coordinates service issues and updates internal systems and all affected internal and external customers to facilitate superior and continuing customer sales and service.
  • Assist dealers in establishing key customer relationships on-site customer visits.
  • Meet on regularly with Territory Managers to gather feedback and market intelligence.
  • Provide feedback to internal departments on customer/dealer concerns and issues
  • Resolve product quality and performance issues for customers and dealers with Production & P&D
  • Contribute and manage to an annual development plan.
  • Field Issue presentations on their product classes, Non-conformance reporting, ECRs, field reporting
  • Involved in product research and development, parts installations, and part sales argumentation
  • Work extensively with service international team in Sweden
  • Work with extensively sales enablement and the training team in Sweden
  • Knowledge of when to use/buy certain options for the products being supported
  • Own and maintain an annual North American training plan and calendar aligned with product launches, seasonal support needs, dealer requirements, and business priorities.
  • Assess dealer and employee capability gaps using service cases, field reports, warranty trends, product changes, learner feedback, assessments, and manager input; prioritize training based on customer and business risk.
  • Create, collect, standardize, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, online, video, audio, presentation, assessment, and job-aid content for all products sold and supported in the region.
  • Coordinate subject-matter experts from Product Support, Field Service, Parts, Warranty, Sales, Product Management, Documentation, and global teams to develop, review, approve, and deliver accurate training.
  • Plan and administer training logistics, including locations, schedules, instructors, machines, tools, safety equipment, class capacity, registration, learner communications, travel support, catering, invoices, payments, and training records.
  • Administer the learning platform and registration tools for external customers; enroll learners, assign courses, maintain user access, publish current materials, track completion, preserve attendance and assessment records, and support dealership training coordinators.
  • Coordinate progressive learning paths for introductory, intermediate, and advanced audiences, including prerequisites, hands-on diagnostics, safe operation, setup, calibration, maintenance, pre-delivery inspection, parts, warranty, and product updates.
  • Develop knowledge checks and practical assessments, provide results to the appropriate dealership or manager, and coordinate remediation or follow-up coaching where required.
  • Track and report training measures, including registrations, attendance, completion, assessment results, dealer coverage, cost, learner feedback, overdue requirements, and effectiveness after training.
  • Maintain document control for training materials so content has a clear owner, version, review date, approval status, market applicability, and prompt revision when products, software, service campaigns, processes, or policies change.
  • Compare and share effective training practices and reusable content across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and other markets as assigned, while adapting delivery to local products, languages, regulations, and dealer needs.

  • Mechanic or Engineer
  • Agricultural experience

  • Knowledge of dealer sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Some knowledge of fiscal management and budgets.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning, including registration, learning-platform administration, attendance, assessments, records, and post-training evaluation.
  • Ability to create and edit clear technical training materials using Microsoft Office, video and screen-recording tools, online learning tools, and approved company systems.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in both English and French.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.

Work Conditions


  • This role requires regular domestic and international travel, which is expected to make up more than 50% of the position. Work will be performed in a combination of field, office, and home office environments.
  • Ability to present to large groups of people, communicate
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
