Job description

Traild: Who are we?

Traild is a high-growth SaaS company redefining how finance teams operate, combining AI, automation, and payments infrastructure to power the future of B2B finance.

Every year, businesses lose billions to fraud, errors, and mistakes. Traild exists to solve this at scale, helping finance teams move faster, stay in control, and operate with confidence.

With rapid customer growth, global expansion across APAC, North America and EMEA, and continued investment in product innovation, we are at a defining stage of our journey.

This is an opportunity to help shape the next category leader in finance automation, control and security, building technology that transforms how businesses manage, move, and protect money. At the core of this is a powerful AI-driven platform, enabling finance teams to deploy intelligent agents that do the work, surface risk in real time, and continuously improve how financial operations run.

Traild is building the infrastructure behind modern finance, protecting and powering meaningful volumes of the world’s B2B transactions.

If you’re excited by high growth, real ownership, and building something that matters, Traild is the place to do the most impactful work of your career.

The role

Traild is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to own how we show up in market across North America. This is a high-impact role that asks for strategy and execution in equal measure, inside a distributed global marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing in Australia.

You will own the NAM (North America) event calendar end to end, 70+ events a year: ERP user groups, industry conferences, channel roadshows, and customer and prospect dinners, plus the follow-up that turns all of it into pipeline. A good share of that is run with our ERP partners, so co-marketing with platforms, resellers, and implementation partners comes with the territory.

Creativity is a real requirement here. We want to stand out in a crowded hall and build enough momentum that people go out of their way to stop by and find out what Traild does. You will be trusted to come up with the idea, not just run the one you were handed.

The role spans everything from ideating a booth activation and coordinating logistics for a multi-state calendar to getting a platinum VAR to commit to a joint roadshow next quarter. If you thrive on ownership and move fast without dropping details, this role was built for you. You should know your goals, understand how your work lands on the organization's revenue, and be able to tell us what a program did for the business rather than how many you ran.

What you'll own
  • Plan and execute Traild's NAM event calendar end to end, covering ERP user groups, industry conferences, and channel roadshows, from sponsorship selection and booth design through lead capture, follow-up, and post-event pipeline reporting
  • Build the field playbook for each event: pre-show outreach, meeting booking targets for NAM sales, on-site activation, and a follow-up sequence that runs on time rather than a week late
  • Bring new ideas to the calendar, including booth concepts, activations, event formats, and invitations that earn attention in a crowded room, and test them rather than repeating last year's plan
  • Run smaller-format field programs that give sales reasons to get in a room with buyers, including regional customer dinners, executive roundtables, lunch and learns, and co-hosted local sessions
  • Own webinars as a field channel, from initial planning and speaker preparation through promotion, day-of execution, and performance analytics covering attendance, conversion, and influenced pipeline
  • Partner with NAM sales leadership on regional demand plans, so event and field investment is aimed at the accounts, industries, and territories the team is actually working
  • Run NAM co-marketing with ERP platforms, resellers, and implementation partners, including joint events, co-branded activations, and partner onboarding campaigns that generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
  • Build relationships with partner marketing contacts at priority NAM ERP platforms and VARs, securing co-marketing commitments and running activations that benefit both sides rather than asking for one-off favors
  • Maintain a partner and field toolkit of pitch decks, social assets, email templates, and value proposition materials that partners and reps can pick up and use independently, and keep it current as the product and messaging evolve
  • Deliver internal enablement for NAM sales and channel reps alongside Content and Product Marketing, so current materials are easy to find and reps are not building their own
  • Track and report on event and channel performance against revenue outcomes, use that data to recommend where to invest and what to cut, and communicate results clearly to NAM sales leadership and the wider marketing team

  • Who You Are

You are a B2B marketer who has built things from scratch in a fast-moving environment, can hold an entire event together without a logistics team behind you, and knows how to earn commitment from partners who have no obligation to say yes.

    • 3 to 7 years of B2B Event or Field marketing experience in SaaS or tech
    • Demonstrated ownership of events end to end
    • Comfortable operating at volume, with a calendar of 70 or more events a year running in parallel at different stages, and a system for keeping every one of them on track
    • Strong commercial acumen - knows the revenue / pipeline numbers generated and can report on ROI
    • A creative streak you can point to, whether a booth concept, an activation, an event format, or an invitation that worked because it was different, and you can explain the thinking behind it
    • Experience building relationships partners, VARs, or implementation partners, including convincing partners to commit resources to joint activity
    • Strong project management and attention to detail, comfortable running multiple programs and vendors across time zones without missing deadlines or waiting to be told what is next
    • Clear, compelling communicator who can develop messaging and materials for both internal teams and external partner and customer audiences
    • Working knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms
    • Experience at a Series A to Series C SaaS company where the marketing team was small and individuals built programs themselves rather than directing others to execute them is a strong advantage
    • Knowledge of the finance or accounting software landscape is a plus
