Senior Software Engineer- Infrustructures

Intentsify is a high-growth company building software to make intent data actionable for marketing and sales teams. Our services digest billions of intent signals every day, extracting deep semantic information that helps our customers make sense of what their buyers are interested in, how competitors position their messaging, and what the main market trends are.  We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure to further the growth and evolution of our Infrastructure team. Inside our approx. 30-strong international engineering department, you will work in a team of 3 engineers, and often closely with other departments.   You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure systems, with a focus on build and deployment, alerting, monitoring and backups. This role requires a strong background in AWS, the Kubernetes ecosystem, and Python.  An interest in growing in your role to understand and guide our data processes in the context of business initiatives, new technologies and privacy and security requirements is welcome, as well as an interest in managing and delegating workloads. You will have the opportunity to work with people from different disciplines, be that IT and security, product or legal teams. 

Location 

Your immediate team works remotely from the US and Europe, but Intentsify also offers an office environment in Westwood, MA.  We are primarily looking for someone in the Americas to balance working hours across the infrastructure team.  

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of infrastructure services.  

• Ensure teams using the infrastructure platform get a consistent experience and can use our platform products in a self-service manner.  

• Ensure best practices are adopted in designing cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.  

• Implement observability strategies to detect and resolve issues proactively.  

• Work with the CISO to plan and test disaster recovery procedures and backup strategies.  

• Implement and maintain our compliance infrastructure ranging from data catalogs (Atlan) to access controls.  

• Work with the CISO and the IT department to ensure that our operations comply with industry and company standards and achieve necessary certifications.  

• Support other engineers in their infrastructure-related queries.  

• Participate in providing out-of-hours support on a rotation.  

• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 

Our Stack

 Although our Platform continues to evolve and we emphasize techniques &  reliability over toolsets - as a reference, we currently work with the following  providers and technologies:  

• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Snowflake, Clickhouse Cloud.  

• IaC: Pulumi (Python), Terraform.  

• Observability: Datadog, Atlan.  

• CI/CD: Github Actions, ArgoCD.  

• Orchestration: EKS, ECS, Airflow, Argo Workflows.  

• GenAI Tooling: Claude Code.  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.  

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services and the Kubernetes ecosystem (at least 2 years).  

• Experience managing data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake).  

• Expertise in Python and modern IaC principles and tooling (we use Terraform and Pulumi).  

• Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, observability, disaster recovery and compliance.  

• Efficient communication and documentation of engineering decisions, data pipelines and architectures.  

• Interest in continuously improving products and staying up to date with industry practices related to infrastructure and platform engineering.
