The Job: The Center’s U.S. Policy and Advocacy Team is looking for two enthusiastic, resourceful, and highly organized spring legal policy externs with a commitment to reproductive rights. The externs will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects related to legislative tracking, research, legal and legislative analysis, and advocacy. The externs will be immersed in the Center’s dynamic policy and advocacy work and have an opportunity to hone their factual and legal research, writing and analysis skills. There are opportunities to participate in state or federal focused projects, please indicate your preference in your application materials.
This position is a full or part-time externship during the spring semester for law school class credit. This position can be remote or based in the Center’s New York City or Washington DC office.
Primary Responsibilities: The Spring Legal Policy Extern will have the opportunity to gain valuable reproductive rights policy experience. The scope of the program may include, but is not limited to:
Compensation: Spring Legal Policy Externs are not eligible for compensation. The externship must be done for law school credit or external funding.
