Manager, Financial Systems
Reports to: Corporate Controller
Location: Remote — supports a global, multi-entity finance organization (US, Israel, UK, Portugal, plus PEO-managed jurisdictions)
Axonius is looking for a Manager of Financial Systems to own the health, integrity, and evolution of our core financial technology stack, and to help lead finance's automation and AI transformation efforts.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end delivery across the financial systems landscape, including requirements definition, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support, tracked in JIRA or an equivalent system under department processes that keep project outcomes consistent.
- Conduct business process mapping and requirements-gathering sessions with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Tax, People, GTM, and Data, and translate business requirements into system solutions, configurations, and prioritized roadmap items.
- Serve as the Finance Systems partner to core business groups — People, GTM, Data, FP&A, and Accounting — helping solve business problems by designing and implementing systematic improvements.
- Define the technical roadmap for financial systems and finance automation, partner with the Corporate Controller, the CFO organization, and IT to align priorities and sequence delivery, and act as finance's advocate for automation and AI — building the case for high-value use cases and driving adoption across the Finance organization and with executive leadership.
- Design, build, and deploy AI-enabled and agentic workflows within finance and accounting processes — reconciliation preparation, flux and variance commentary, AP exception detection, and document and contract extraction — with defined success criteria, measured baselines, complete audit trails, and human review before any entry posts to the general ledger.
- Own NetSuite OneWorld administration across a multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, multi-book environment alongside its supporting systems, Expensify, Zip, Navan, Avalara, and Adaptive.
- Build, monitor, and support the integrations that move financial and operational data across ERP, procurement, travel and expense, banking, HCM, CRM, close management, planning, and reporting platforms, and ensure the integrity of the data flowing between them.
- Manage consultants engaged for NetSuite configuration, testing releases, programming and scripting projects.
Develop and modify NetSuite reporting, saved searches, KPIs, and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Plan, review, and manage change configurations, customizations, and third-party integration requests involving NetSuite.
- Manage and maintain security, access controls, data classifications, and role-based access system controls across financial systems.
- Monitor system performance and work to optimize system availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage a team of Business Systems Analysts as it grows, including people development, assigning goals and objectives, training, and performance evaluations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- NetSuite certification preferred (Administrator).
- You have 5+ years of experience in financial systems, ERP administration, or finance technology leadership, including hands-on experience with NetSuite a multi-subsidiary OneWorld environment.
- You have deep hands-on NetSuite expertise across SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, custom records and fields, and the roles and permissions model.
- You have implemented and supported NetSuite integrations with other business systems — Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive, Snowflake, Avalara, Expensify, Zip, or Navan, or close equivalents.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite workflows, SuiteScript, customizations, reports, and saved searches.
- Experience working with systems that manage sensitive financial data, including SOX controls, change management, segregation of duties (SoD), and IT general controls (ITGC).
- Demonstrated experience evaluating, piloting, or implementing AI/LLM tooling in a finance or accounting context, with the credibility to evangelize adoption and lead change across a finance organization.
- Genuine enthusiasm for staying current on emerging AI capabilities and translating them into practical, controlled finance use cases.
- Experience in a SaaS company with a global, PEO-supported workforce a plus.
- Ability to independently manage others, individual time, and competing priorities.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing business needs.

Annual Salary Range (bonus and equity included in addition to the below numbers)$148,000—$163,000 USD
