Enterprise Hardware Ordering Specialist

The Opportunity:

The Enterprise Hardware Ordering Specialist will be at the forefront of our organization's Enterprise Ordering capability, with specialized focus on PCI DSS compliant credit card transaction processing and e-commerce operations. This role requires expertise in streamlining procurement and tracking processes within PCI-compliant systems and Corporate Purchasing Systems utilizing a direct tie back to an order in a IT Storefront procurement action.

The Enterprise Hardware Ordering Specialist will manage Government Purchase Card (GPC) transactions through secure e-commerce platforms (eBiz), ensuring full compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. You'll have a good sense of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as satisfy immediate requests to ad-hoc duties as needed by program leadership. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse team is crucial.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of all items needed across the Enterprise Ordering capability

• Develop and maintain a centralized tracking system for all purchases, from requisition to delivery

• Process GPC orders within the IT Storefront e-commerce platform in a PCI DSS compliant manner

• Validate and place holds on Government Purchase Cards using eBiz system following PCI security protocols

• Execute secure credit card transactions ensuring proper encryption and data protection standards

• Charge approved transactions to GPC accounts through PCI-compliant payment gateways

• Maintain strict adherence to PCI DSS requirements including secure handling, storage, and transmission of cardholder data

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in procurement records and compliance with company policies and PCI DSS standards

• Generate detailed reports on procurement activities tying transactions from several disparate systems.

• Coordinate procurement activities, including the preparation of purchase orders within the purchasing system (P2P) and ensuring compliance with procurement and PCI security policies

• Approve invoices through P2P system and process vendor payments in accordance with security protocols

• Manage and update the procurement database, including supplier information and procurement records within secure, PCI-compliant systems

• Work within the EITaaS IT Storefront e-commerce environment to process orders and manage GPC transactions

• Ensure compliance with all PCI DSS requirements including annual training, security awareness, and incident reporting

 Qualifications:

Required: 

• Proficient in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Knowledgeable in SharePoint

• Experience working with PCI DSS compliant e-commerce platforms and payment systems

• Understanding of PCI DSS security standards and credit card data protection requirements

• Familiarity with GPC (Government Purchase Card) processes and regulations

• Experience with eBiz and P2P procurement systems or similar e-commerce/payment platforms

• Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance

• 7+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little direction and guidance

• Demonstrated communications skills with all levels of program and customer management and staff

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive payment card information

Desired:

• PCI DSS certification or training

• Experience with merchant bank account management and payment processing

• Knowledge of federal government purchasing regulations and GPC compliance requirements
