Job Description:

Remote Physician Primary Care Inbox 

Support primary care teams remotely by completing indirect patient care tasks. Remote inbox physicians collaborate with on-site providers and staff to co-manage the medical needs of patients. 

Requirements: 

• Board-certified MD or DO  

• DEA 

• NH License 

• 3-5 years’ clinical experience in primary care 

Major Responsibilities: 

• Respond to patient calls and portal messages requiring provider input. 

• Review and refill medication refill requests. 

• Coordinate patient care with triage and care coordination nurses. 

• Communicate lab and diagnostic test results to patients. 

• Complete peer-to-peer review with insurance company for authorization of testing or treatment when needed. 

• Attend regularly-scheduled virtual meetings with on-site providers. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Pay Range:

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
