Reporting to the Head of Recruiting, the VP, Wealth Management Recruiting is responsible for developing and executing advisor acquisition strategies that accelerate business growth and strengthen Prudential Wealth Advisors’ market position. This leader will oversee a team of Regional Recruiters and establish the operating model, strategic partnerships, performance standards, and governance required to deliver sustained recruiting success.

This Vice President serves as a strategic advisor to Territory and field leadership and is accountable for advisor acquisition results, recruiting productivity, recruiting economics, and overall business impact. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to influence outcomes across a geographically dispersed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Advisor Acquisition & Business Growth

  • Own regional recruiting results, including revenue, AUM, advisor headcount growth, and strategic acquisition outcomes associated with experienced financial advisors, advisor teams, and other growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Territory and field leadership to develop and execute advisor acquisition strategies that accelerate business growth, strengthen market presence, and support long-term organizational objectives.
  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and execution of complex growth initiatives, including advisor team acquisitions, mergers, succession opportunities, and other strategic business expansion efforts.
  • Provide executive-level market intelligence and competitive insights to inform recruiting strategy, workforce planning, and investment decisions.

Recruiting Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Build and lead a high-performing recruiting organization by establishing performance standards, developing recruiting talent, and creating accountability for achieving business and recruiting objectives.
  • Foster a culture of execution, collaboration, innovation, and results across recruiting teams and strategic partners.
  • Ensure recruiting resources, capabilities, and talent strategies are aligned with enterprise growth priorities and evolving business needs.

Recruiting Strategy & Performance Management

  • Establish and govern the regional recruiting operating model, including performance metrics, reporting, accountability frameworks, and best practices.
  • Drive adoption of Prudential Advisors' recruiting strategy, including centralized sourcing, field engagement, and strategic third-party partnerships.
  • Leverage data, market insights, and performance analytics to continuously improve recruiting outcomes, productivity, and return on investment.
  • Monitor recruiting effectiveness and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of growth and business objectives.

Strategic Partnerships & Governance

  • Ensure recruiting investments, processes, and practices align with enterprise priorities, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to drive alignment on advisor acquisition priorities, resource allocation, and growth strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in wealth management, advisor recruiting, business development, or related growth-focused functions.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering measurable business growth, revenue, and organizational performance outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic growth initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience partnering with and advising senior executives and field leadership.
  • Inclusive leadership style with a demonstrated ability to lead across functions, regions, and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the region.

The compensation structure for this role includes a strong base salary and an uncapped incentive structure, providing significant earning potential through both front-end and back-end variable compensation.
