Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Hindi
Type: Contract
Compensation: $18/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data by auditing multilingual transcription and forced alignment tasks.
• Review recordings and transcriptions to ensure accuracy, applying error codes and providing rationale.
• Verify and correct word-level segmentation in audio, adjusting timestamps and transcriptions as needed.
• Collaborate asynchronously, working independently to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
• Maintain consistency in applying rubrics across judgments, enhancing the quality of AI-generated content.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native command of Hindi as spoken in India.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA.
• Ability to distinguish similar sounds and identify word boundaries in continuous speech.

Preferred

• Experience in AI data annotation or model evaluation.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics.
• Familiarity with audio editing or waveform tools.
