Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Korean
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data in Korean for accuracy and clarity.
• Review multilingual transcription audits by listening to recordings and checking transcriptions against a fixed set of error codes.
• Conduct forced alignment audits by verifying and correcting audio segment timestamps and transcriptions.
• Provide detailed written rationales for each judgment to ensure clarity and transparency.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native command of Korean as spoken in South Korea.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA.
• Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.
• Excellent careful listening skills.

Preferred

• Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics.
• Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
