The firm is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Marketing Technology team. In this role, the Data Analyst will analyze marketing data from multiple sources to support strategic initiatives, optimize campaigns, and keep the firm's business development and marketing efforts on track. Success in this role requires a strong blend of technical and analytical skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

This position is available as a hybrid or remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data across multiple marketing technology platforms, including CRM and ERM systems, marketing automation, social media analytics, and website traffic sources, to generate insights on key marketing metrics. 

  • Design and implement dashboards to enable marketing, business development, and leadership teams to track and evaluate KPIs. 

  • Deliver strategic recommendations based on insights from our platforms to optimize marketing initiatives and to support client acquisition and retention efforts for business development. 

  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop data signals and indicators that support client prospecting, relationship building, and cross-selling opportunities. 

  • Manage administrative tasks in Salesforce, including creating triggers, setting dependencies, developing automation flows, and conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and efficient system usage. 

  • Work with the team to periodically audit and update Salesforce custom objects, fields, relationships, sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets to keep data secure.

  • Develop and execute a quality assurance plan to validate data syncs and field mappings across integrated systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the data lifecycle. 

  • Identify high-value opportunities for data enrichment services to address missing or incomplete data across integrated systems.

  • Assist in the development and execution of implementation workflows for the migration and integration of data sources and marketing tools, in partnership with the Senior Manager of Marketing Technology. 

  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies across marketing systems to maintain consistent and accurate reporting. 

  • Provide initial onboarding and ongoing user support, troubleshooting system issues and driving adoption of best practices across the user base. 

  • Develop training documentation and instructional materials, including video tutorials, and lead formal training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of marketing technology experience in a fast-paced professional services environment; law firm experience preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, including data analysis and administration.

  • Strong knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Smartsheet). 

  • Experience with CRM and ERM systems, marketing automation tools, experience management platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Introhive, Marketo, Foundation), and Google Analytics. 

  • Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation, and campaign optimization techniques. 

  • Knowledge of CRM system migrations, deprecations, deployments, and rollouts, with an understanding of how to minimize disruption to end users and maintain data integrity throughout each transition. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. 

  • Salesforce experience is required.

  • Experience managing complex projects and working with deadlines required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Administrator certified 

  • Experience working with vendors and negotiating contracts

The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:Palo Alto, New York, San Francisco: $81,600 - $110,400 per year.
Austin, Boston, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Washington, D.C., and all other locations: $73,100 - $98,900 per year.

The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
