About the role

  • Lumovy is seeking an experienced Production & Manufacturing Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing implementations, particularly in Production Control, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, and data migration from legacy systems to D365 F&O. This position will play a key role in supporting a manufacturing transformation initiative, translating business requirements into scalable D365 F&O solutions, and ensuring successful migration and adoption of manufacturing processes.

Essential Functions

  • Lead business discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement-gathering activities with manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing legacy manufacturing processes and recommend best-practice solutions using D365 F&O.
  • Design and configure functional solutions across Production Control and Manufacturing processes.
  • Provide strong functional expertise in Bill of Materials (BOM), formulas, routes/routing, production orders, resources, and production processes.
  • Analyze existing legacy data and define data requirements for migration into D365 F&O.
  • Develop and validate data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and migration requirements for manufacturing data.
  • Support migration of key manufacturing master data, including BOMs, routes, products, resources, and related production data.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flows, solution design documents, and user stories.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants, data migration teams, architects, and developers to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support functional testing, SIT, UAT, data validation, reconciliation, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
  • Facilitate UAT sessions and work with business users to ensure successful adoption of the new D365 F&O solution.
  • Act as a functional SME for manufacturing processes and provide guidance to business and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 10–15 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
  • Proven experience delivering D365 F&O implementations within Manufacturing and/or Production environments
  • Strong functional expertise in Production Control and Manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on experience with Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing/Routes, Production Orders, Resources, and Production Processes
  • Strong experience with data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
  • Experience working on legacy system to D365 F&O migration projects is highly preferred
  • Experience conducting stakeholder workshops, business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, data migration teams, and cross-functional project teams
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly preferred
  • Experience with Master Planning/MRP, Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, or Cost Management will be an added advantage
