Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring for a Senior Product Analyst! The Senior Product Analyst supports the development, enhancement, and administration of Employer Health Solutions products, with a primary focus on our Medical Stop Loss policy and Level Funded Plus program. This role works across multiple business functions to coordinate product initiatives, support regulatory compliance, evaluate market opportunities, and drive product enhancements that improve competitiveness, profitability, and customer experience. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, action-oriented professional who can successfully balance strategic thinking with operational execution while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.

This is a fully remote position with some expectations of travel.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance Employer Health Solutions products, including Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Plus program, to support growth objectives and maintain market competitiveness.

  • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, emerging opportunities, and product innovation strategies.

  • Collaborates with underwriting, claims, operations, compliance, legal, actuarial, and marketing teams to design, implement, and maintain product offerings and related business initiatives.

  • Collaborates and coordinates with external vendors and partners to understand, document, and review product details that support underwriting, pricing, product approval, and implementation.

  • Analyzes product performance, market data, customer feedback, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product enhancements, operational improvements, and new product development.

  • Assists in the development and execution of product strategies, business plans, and initiatives that support organizational goals, profitability objectives, and long-term product growth.

  • Coordinates cross-functional projects and serves as a central resource to facilitate communication, manage action items, and drive product-related initiatives through successful completion.

  • Participates in the development and maintenance of product specifications, underwriting guidelines, policy forms, procedures, marketing materials, and supporting documentation.

  • Supports product filings and regulatory compliance efforts by coordinating state-specific updates, form revisions, and compliance-related initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Works closely with business development, marketing, and operations teams to support product launches, product enhancements, training initiatives, and ongoing product administration activities.

  • Maintains knowledge of applicable industry regulations, market developments, healthcare financing trends, and competitive intelligence to support informed product decisions and recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: Generally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance, employee benefits, healthcare financing, underwriting, product management, product development, account management, or a related field.

  • Experience with medical stop loss, level funding, self-funded employer health plans, employee benefits, health insurance products, or related healthcare coverage solutions is preferred.

  • Professional designations or progress toward industry certifications are a plus.

  • Scope of Job/Qualifications: Demonstrates strong knowledge of medical stop loss, level funding, employee benefits, or related insurance products and an understanding of product development, market analysis, and regulatory considerations. Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, project coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across underwriting, claims, operations, compliance, legal, marketing, and other business functions. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of managing multiple priorities while driving initiatives from concept through implementation. Position may require occasional travel.

Salary Range:

$79,200.00 -$125,800.00
