AU Mortgage Broker Assistant (Remote)
About PeoplePartners

At PeoplePartners, great work starts with great people—and we’re proud to be a Great Place to Work® certified company.
We’re building a people-first workplace where talented professionals can grow their careers, gain meaningful global exposure, and work with fantastic Australian clients without giving up the advantages of working from home. You’ll be part of a supportive, high-performing culture that values ownership, learning, collaboration, and enjoying the journey along the way.
If you’re looking for a role where your organization skills genuinely make a difference, there’s plenty of opportunity waiting for you here.

This is admin with ownership.
While the broker focuses on client strategy, credit advice, lender selection, loan structuring, complex scenarios, and relationship building, you’ll own much of the workflow that keeps everything moving.
You’ll manage document collection, CRM updates, client and lender follow-ups, settlement coordination, and pipeline reporting—making sure the right things happen at the right time.
And once you’re up to speed, there’s room to grow. You can develop into lender portal uploads, application packaging, basic preliminary servicing, and lender shortlisting as your knowledge and confidence build.

Send client document checklists and reminders.
Collect, organize, and review supporting documents for completeness.
Follow up on missing documents and information.
Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, tasks, and reminders.
Track annual client reviews and workflow activities.
Provide clients with application progress updates.
Follow up with lenders regarding valuations, conditions, and application updates.
Track loan applications and key milestones through to settlement.
Prepare weekly pipeline reports.
Coordinate settlement and post-settlement administration.
Support lender portal uploads and application packaging as capability develops.
Assist with basic preliminary servicing and lender shortlisting as capability develops.

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):

At least 2 years of relevant experience in mortgage administration, broker support, loan processing, banking, financial services administration, client services, virtual assistance, administrative support, real estate, conveyancing, or a related field.
Experience with document collection and document management.
Experience maintaining CRM records and client information.
Experience with client and stakeholder follow-ups.
Strong workflow coordination and task-management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
Ability to work independently and follow established processes.
Understanding of accurate compliance documentation and record keeping.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

Australian mortgage administration or broker support experience.
Loan processing experience.
Experience with Broker Engine.
Experience with Quickli.
Experience with CRM platforms.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Experience using lender portals or mortgage-processing systems.
Exposure to application packaging, preliminary servicing, or lender shortlisting.

At PeoplePartners, you’re not just joining another remote role. You’re joining a Great Place to Work® certified company where people, development, and opportunity matter.
You’ll gain valuable global exposure by supporting an Australian mortgage business while building practical knowledge of mortgage administration and broker support. As your expertise grows, so can your responsibilities—with opportunities to develop into application packaging, lender portal management, preliminary servicing, and lender shortlisting.
You’ll also be part of a people-first culture that supports career growth, continuous learning, employee engagement activities, and meaningful connections while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of a work-from-home setup.
Success here is straightforward: complete documentation, accurate CRM records, timely follow-ups, clear pipeline visibility, smooth settlement coordination, and fewer administrative bottlenecks.
The better you become at owning the workflow, the more time the broker has for client strategy, credit advice, complex scenarios, relationships, and business development—and the more opportunity you have to grow your own expertise.
If you’re happiest when the documents are complete, the CRM is current, every follow-up has been handled, and the broker can concentrate on the work only they can do, we want to hear from YOU.

Apply through PeoplePartners and show us how you keep a mortgage pipeline moving.
