NSW North is a high-performing territory, and we're looking for a Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) to take it further. You'll step into strong customer relationships and a brand with real momentum, with the freedom and the support to build on both.

You'll be part of a diverse, high-achieving team loaded with talented people who share a common mission, back each other and celebrate each other's wins. Working in close partnership with Medical, Marketing and Commercial Effectiveness, you'll develop and deliver multi-channel business plans that promote the safe and effective use of our medicine – and make a real difference for patients living with inflammatory skin disease.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key accounts based upon current and anticipated customer needs, position our brands appropriately across the key therapeutic areas.

  • Regularly review and report account/ customer and territory performance and market trends to help identify opportunities that directly shape future business plans and activities.

  • Build and maintain excellent stakeholder networks and relationships internally and externally to drive the business forward.

  • Place customers at the centre of what you do in addressing needs and finding business solutions.

  • Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience and insights.

  • Ensure business objectives and practices are fully compliant with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics.

Key Stakeholders

  • Internal: Sales and Marketing, Medical, Cx Team, Commercial Effectiveness, First Line Leader, Franchise Lead & Business Unit Director

  • External: Dermatologists, Rheumatologists and broader Unit of Care across the patient journey (nurses, pharmacists); key thought leaders within defined territory

Qualifications, experience and competencies

Our ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in a relevant role in the pharmaceutical industry with recent Dermatology experience highly desirable with the proven ability to effectively communicate scientific data to healthcare professionals. You will be passionate about impacting patients' lives & be ready to join a diverse high achieving team with a common mission and come with:

  • Proven ability to build peer-peer relationships with top-ranking medics, scientists or other healthcare professionals.

  • Sound business acumen/selling ability and a solid track record in successfully managing profitable relationships with key accounts/ customers in a specialty environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly and comprehensively learn about new subject areas and environments.

  • Excellent communication, selling, influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrable drive for high performance and results

  • Deep understanding of the competition and their strategies

  • Omnichannel mindset and customer journey mapping proficiency

  • Deep insight into the hospital environment: customers, networks, and departments.

  • Ability to plan strategically and work effectively within a cross-functional customer facing operational team.

  • Diligent, timely, compliant in all aspects of administration requirements of the role

  • Ability to analyze, develop and execute business plans.

  • Independent use of Microsoft suite: I-detailing on an iPad, VEEVA territory management systems & CSCOR and internal data source/analysis tool
