As the Account Manager – Industrial Water & Distribution supporting North America, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth across Arxada’s Industrial Water business. This highly visible commercial position combines strategic account management, distributor development, and business expansion within industrial water treatment markets, with a strong focus on the rapidly growing data center segment. Working closely with customers, distribution partners, Technical Service, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and R&D teams, you will help strengthen customer relationships, accelerate adoption of innovative water treatment technologies, and contribute directly to Arxada’s continued growth and market leadership.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic Industrial Water accounts across North America, delivering revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, identify new business opportunities, and convert sales leads into sustainable revenue streams.
  • Lead distributor and channel partner relationships, including performance management, growth planning, and distribution optimization initiatives.
  • Drive market development activities within Industrial Water applications, particularly data centers, cooling water treatment, process water, and wastewater reuse.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, OEMs, engineering firms, service providers, and key industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with Technical Service, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to develop and commercialize customer-focused solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities, forecasts, account plans, and business reviews while maintaining pipeline accuracy.
  • Represent Arxada at customer meetings, industry conferences, technical forums, and trade events to promote company solutions and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or business development within industrial water treatment, specialty chemicals, antimicrobial technologies, cooling water treatment, or related markets.
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic accounts and delivering profitable growth.
  • Experience working with distributors, channel partners, and indirect sales models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases, growth strategies, forecasts, and customer value propositions.
  • Knowledge of industrial water treatment applications and data center cooling infrastructure preferred.
  • Experience with biocides, antimicrobial technologies, EPA-regulated products, or water treatment chemistry is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Water Treatment, or a related scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.

The expected salary range for this role is 90,000 $- 110,000 $, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.

Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.

Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.
