【主な職務内容】

• 日本と海外拠点の橋渡しとなり、プロジェクトを技術面から成功に導きます。
• 顧客テクニカルインターフェース
• 顧客との技術議論を主導し、標準ソリューションの提案・促進を行う。
• 車両テストやベンチテストに立ち会い、現場での技術課題の特定と解決をサポート。
• グローバル・コミュニケーションの最適化：国内チームと海外設計センター（仏山・カイロ・武漢など）の連携を円滑にし、認識の齟齬を解消。
• 要件定義・調整：顧客要求と標準仕様のギャップを分析し、実現可能な落とし所をエンジニアリング視点で調整。
• 進捗・変更管理のサポート：顧客からの変更要求をプロジェクトマネージャーへ正確にフィードバックし、計画の整合性を図る。
• システム検証・品質保証：・実車を用いたナイトドライブ（夜間走行テスト）への参加、および不具合の再現確認・解析、ソフトウェア・システム設計のレビューを通じた問題解決。

1日／週の在宅勤務が可能
出張：車両評価のため、機材を持って評価拠点へ出向く場合があります。実車評価の際には、テストコース等への出張も発生します。

【必須】

• 5年以上の実務経験（自動車業界での経験者、特にADASやライティング関連、ECU経験者は大歓迎）
• 組み込みソフトウェア開発の知識（C言語）
• ソフトウェアアーキテクチャおよびシステム設計の理解
• 英語：日常会話～ビジネスレベル以上
• 日本語ビジネスレベル以上（コミュニケーションが可能であれば、読み書きは普通でもOK）

* Valeo Japan consists of four divisions:

１）　Power Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

２）　Brain Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS and reinvent the interior experience.

３）　Light Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for "Lighting Everywhere."

４）　Valeo Service Division: Handles after-sales services for all products across divisions 1～3.

Headlamps

[Main Responsibilities]

• Serve as a bridge between Japan and overseas sites, driving project success from a technical perspective.
• Customer Technical Interface: Lead technical discussions with customers, promoting and proposing standard solutions.
• On-Site Support: Attend vehicle and bench tests to support on-site identification and resolution of technical issues.
• Global Communication Optimization: Facilitate smooth collaboration between domestic teams and overseas R&D centers (Foshan, Cairo, Wuhan, etc.) to eliminate alignment gaps.
• Requirements Definition & Alignment: Analyze gaps between customer requirements and standard specifications, negotiating feasible technical compromises from an engineering perspective.
• Progress & Change Management Support: Provide accurate feedback on customer Change Requests to Project Managers to ensure project plan alignment.
• System Validation & Quality Assurance: Participate in night drives (nighttime test driving) using actual vehicles, confirming bug reproduction and conducting root-cause analysis. Resolve issues through software and system design reviews.

[Position Appeal]
This role acts as a "Technical Command Center" connecting Japan's leading automakers with the Valeo Group's world-leading overseas R&D centers (China, Egypt, etc.).

Rather than acting as a simple interpreter or liaison, you will be deeply involved in cutting-edge lighting systems and ECU development from technical proposals to troubleshooting.

[Team Structure]

• Expected level: Manager
• Direct reports: Approximately 4～6 members
• Frequent collaboration: Daily meetings with overseas sites and routine discussions with Japanese OEMs (JOEMs).

[Work Style]

• Work-from-Home (WFH): Available up to 1 day per week
• Business Travel: Travel to evaluation sites carrying equipment for vehicle assessments may occur. Business trips to test courses and other facilities will also occur for actual vehicle evaluations.

[Requirements]

• 5+ years of practical work experience (Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with ADAS, lighting systems, or ECUs, is strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of embedded software development (C language)
• Understanding of software architecture and system design
• English: Conversational to Business level or higher
• Japanese: Business level or higher (If capable of smooth verbal communication, average reading/writing skills are acceptable)
  *Must be able to negotiate effectively with overseas engineers and domestic customers.
