Draft, review, redline, and negotiate routine and moderately complex commercial agreements on both the customer and vendor sides of transactions, using company templates and established guidance.

Use contract management systems, databases, and AI-enabled legal technology to support contract review, drafting, redlining, analysis, and contract management in accordance with company policies and practices.
Conduct legal research on commercial contracting issues as needed and communicate findings and recommendations to the Senior Contract Attorney and legal team.
Exercise sound judgment and initiative within established policies and guidance, while recognizing when a matter should be escalated to more senior legal counsel or another subject-matter resource.
Stay current on legal developments and contracting practices relevant to the role and contribute ideas for improving contract templates, processes, consistency, and efficiency.
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
1-2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably involving commercial contracting.
Experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, or negotiating commercial agreements.
Experience using AI-enabled tools for contract review, drafting, redlining, or analysis is preferred, together with an interest in developing proficiency with legal technology.
Strong analytical and legal research skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain legal and contractual issues clearly to non-lawyers.
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines.
Sound judgment, a willingness to seek guidance and accept feedback, and the ability to develop increasing independence as experience grows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and use contract management software, database systems, and related legal technology.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with legal and business teams and build productive working relationships across the organization.
