About the Role

Due to anticipated growth throughout North America, Emerald Clinical Trials is building a talent pipeline of experienced Clinical Project Managers for future clinical development programs.

This is a pipeline posting and may not correspond to an immediate vacancy. We encourage interested candidates to apply so we can engage with talented professionals ahead of future study awards and project launches.

This home-based US position will provide leadership for regional and global clinical trials, with a strong preference for candidates who bring experience within renal, oncology, cardiometabolic & autoimmune diseases.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical studies.

  • Manage sponsor relationships and serve as the primary operational contact.

  • Oversee timelines, deliverables, budgets, and project financial health.

  • Drive study performance and ensure milestones are met.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Medical, Regulatory, and Biostatistics.

  • Manage vendors and third-party providers.

  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and company procedures.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

  • Support business development initiatives and proposal activities.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of clinical research experience.

  • 2+ years of Clinical Project Management experience within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site or global clinical trials.

  • Strong financial, operational, and leadership capabilities.

  • Excellent knowledge of GCP and FDA regulations.

  • Experience in renal/nephrology clinical trials is highly preferred.

  • Ability to travel as required.

The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
