Position Overview

We are seeking a Sustainability Specialist to provide strategic support in developing and executing sustainability programs, objectives, and initiatives. This role will involve working closely with leadership to advance sustainability goals and certifications, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sustainability audits for new and existing suppliers to evaluate performance and inform strategic decisions.

  • Manage sustainability certifications and programs (e.g., RSPO, Sedex, Ecovadis), including portfolio growth and credit management.

  • Lead and implement projects aimed at advancing sustainability objectives and compliance.

  • Develop and monitor environmental and sustainability plans, strategies, standards, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Measure and report sustainability program performance against legislation and internal objectives.

  • Prepare and publish sustainability reports and periodic updates showcasing progress and leadership in sustainability.

  • Support long-term sustainability strategies and innovation initiatives.

  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • 7–10 years of experience in mid-level sustainability leadership roles.

  • Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

  • Highly organized, self-driven, and motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Current or prior experience within sustainable Palm oil and/or Oleochemical industry highly advantageous
