Job description

  • Sales Operations Manager
  • Fully remote
  • Flexibility to work with PST time zone

We're partnering with a global cleantech/infrastructure company to hire a Sales Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across the sales team.

If you're a detail‑driven, tech‑savvy operator who loves making sales teams faster and more effective, this senior individual‑contributor role puts you at the centre of the engine. You'll be the connective tissue between Sales Operations, Salesforce, Finance, and Operations - owning the systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure that keeps deals moving from signed contract to delivered order.

This is a high‑impact role for someone ready to own sales operations end‑to‑end, build scalable processes and mentor others as the function grows globally.

What You'll Lead

  • Salesforce Administration — user management, configuration, workflow/validation rules, opportunity/quote management, and ongoing system optimisation.
  • Data Integrity — run audits, cleanup campaigns, and enforce validation rules to keep Salesforce accurate and reliable.
  • Order Operations — review contracts, enter orders, and coordinate with Finance & Operations through fulfilment.
  • Sales Reporting — build dashboards and reporting packages covering pipeline, forecast, order status, win rates, sales cycle, quota attainment, and MTD/QTD performance.
  • Executive Analysis — deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly insights; support leadership with ad‑hoc analysis and presentations.
  • Rep Support — assist with proposals, pricing, quotes, and contract queries.
  • Order Tracking — monitor post‑close status, resolve discrepancies, and escalate blockers early.
  • COI Management — own end‑to‑end Certificate of Insurance requests, liaising with customers and insurance partners.
  • Process Optimisation — document, refine, and scale lead routing, opportunity management, and quote‑to‑cash workflows.
  • Salesforce Training — onboard and upskill the sales team on tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Sales Enablement — manage competitive intelligence, resource libraries, and sales collateral.
  • Team Coordination — support sales meetings, kick‑offs, and training sessions.
  • Tooling & Integrations — evaluate, implement, and integrate new sales tools.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years in Sales Operations, sales analytics, or CRM administration (B2B hardware, SaaS, or infrastructure ideal).
  • Advanced Salesforce skills; Admin certification a plus.
  • Proven ability to document and optimise processes independently.
  • Strong Excel capability and comfort analysing sales data.
  • Experience with ERP/order management systems (NetSuite, SAP).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Clear, professional communication — confident presenting to leadership.
  • Experience supporting distributed/global sales teams is a plus.

Tools You'll Use

  • Salesforce
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • DocuSign
  • SharePoint
  • Claude or similar AI tools
